Overview

DocTools is a suite of browser-based tools. All processing happens entirely on your device. Your files are never uploaded to, or stored on, any server.

Data We Do Not Collect

• The contents of any PDF files you use with this tool.
• File names or metadata from your documents.
• Any personally identifiable information.

How the Tool Works

When you select PDF files, they are read directly by your browser using the Web File API. Merging is performed using the pdf-lib JavaScript library running in your browser tab. The resulting merged PDF is generated locally and downloaded directly to your device. No data is transmitted over the network during this process.

Analytics and Cookies

This site uses Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data such as page views and visitor counts. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. No data about the files you process is ever included.

Third-Party Services

This site is hosted on a third-party hosting provider. Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) may be retained by the hosting provider per their own privacy policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
